Refunds & cancellations
This policy applies to paid consultations for employment consulting in Germany — placement advisory, recognition guidance, orientation sessions, and employer briefings.
Eligibility
Refunds depend on how much advisory work has already been delivered and when you cancel relative to a scheduled session.
Timeframe
Cancel or reschedule by email to info@workflowtoolbox.digital at least 48 hours before a scheduled session for a full refund of fees paid for that unused session, minus any non-refundable items listed below.
Full and partial refunds
- Orientation Session: Full refund if cancelled 48+ hours ahead; 50% if cancelled between 48 and 12 hours; no refund for later cancellation or no-show.
- Placement Advisory & Recognition Guidance: Deposit is refundable in full if cancelled before the credential review session. After the first session, refunds are proportional to undelivered stages, documented in writing.
- Employer Briefing: Full refund if cancelled 5+ working days before the briefing date; 50% within that window if preparation has not started; no refund after the briefing has begun.
Non-refundable items
Third-party costs you incur yourself (certified translations, travel, chamber fees) are never refunded by us. Written materials already delivered for your use remain yours; their preparation fee is non-refundable once sent.
Work already started
Hours spent on employer mapping, document review, or briefing preparation are deducted from any partial refund at the agreed engagement rate.
Deposits
Deposits secure scheduling for Placement Advisory and Employer Briefings. They are applied to the final invoice or refunded under the rules above.
Rescheduling
One complimentary reschedule is allowed per engagement if requested 48+ hours ahead. Further reschedules may incur a €40 administration fee.
No-shows
Missing a session without notice is treated as a late cancellation for that session.
Refund process and timing
Email your request with your name, engagement date, and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days to the original payment method.
