Next, note how the firm describes supervision. A workshop with a resident Meister and a clear Ausbildungsplan differs sharply from a lean crew that expects you to fill every gap. Neither is wrong — but they demand different energy and experience.
Finally, ask about regional travel and site work. Many Rhineland-Palatinate craft firms split time between the workshop and customer sites. Confirm travel compensation, vehicle expectations, and how often overnight stays occur. Those details rarely appear in the first paragraph, yet they shape weekly life more than the headline wage.
